ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Musical Legacy: Tony Newton is a legendary multi-instrumentalist, electric bassist, piano-keyboardist, saxes/clarinets/flutes (20 years), songwriter-composer, producer who has performed with iconic artists such as Smokey Robinson(Music Director), Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, and Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, John Lee Hooker. He is recognized as a founding figure in the Jazz-Rock- Fusion genre, notably collaborating with Miles Davis drummer Tony Williams. Newton has contributed to over 100 million selling recordings throughout his career including recordings with Irish-British world-class virtuoso guitarist Gary More in the rock group G-Force.Newton is also successful worldwide as a solo artist with his unique recording catalogue and all-star groups: TNT power trio and TNT Xtreme, his 8-12 piece concert aggregation.
Innovator and Inventor: Newton is known for his “Novaphonic Q Sound” discoveries, adding a unique dimension to his musical creations. Additionally, Newton is an innovator in the unique area of “Music Science”. Beyond music, Newton is an inventor of various software and hardware products, a business entrepreneur, and a technology product consultant and developer. Involved in computer technology, internet and code language(s) since 1984, over 40 years.
Author and Educator: He has authored over fifteen books on personal development and music, including the “Bass Bible”, “The Art & Science of Music Composition” The “Novaphonic” Harmony 7 volume series and other titles: Miraculous You, Articles of Light, Shine Forth Your Light, The Magic & Joy of Creativity, and his autobiography Gold Thunder.
